Kamadhenu
Appaswamy had a unique idea of luxury for their upcoming apartment in Mylapore, Chennai. They wanted to connect with and start a conversation around the significance of the place. We collaborated with Studio Halfcup, who built the brand identity and marketing creatives, to create a series of films that narrates the various facets of the place as a visual narrative.
Client: Appaswamy Real Estates
Services: Films, Branding
The entirety involved building brand communications across various touchpoints. The mediums explored included photos and videos for socials, website and marketing campaigns along with a city guide cum apartment’s specification, that evokes the inherent connect with Mylapore. We also developed the verbal identity for the Kamadhenu Apartments, which stood to convey Appaswamy's idea of luxury.
The main film was shot in 25 different places documenting various artisans, traditional business owners, spiritual places, local rituals and the residents of Mylapore. For the vertical films, we delivered a crisp visual documentary of 12 locations, each film dedicated to places around Mylapore.
The photography included a deep dive into activities, textures, colours and the grandeur of the place—built into the narrative of nostalgic reminiscence. The copy also followed the same mood to inform and also present all the places with an evocative sense.
